Certificates of Deposit / Share Certificates

A share certificate is an investment account that earns a higher dividend rate than a regular savings account in exchange for not being able to make withdrawals or add addition funds for a fixed time. There are different rates based on the dollar amount and the term -- as little as 6 months or as long a year.

    Regular CDs: $500
    Jumbo CDs: $50,000

    $20.00 - Early withdrawal of a 6-month CD
    $30.00 - Early withdrawal of a 12-month CD
